BMC 2016 GRANFONDO GF02 TIAGRA CT 56CM
t can go everywhere. It can do everything. You’ll have a time deciding which direction to go when you’re not limited to pave roads: such is the dilemma of piloting the BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc Tiagra bike. Just about everything short of riding rocky singletrack. But if you put on some narrow slicks, you can race it on the road, install wide knobbies, and it can do 'cross or light mountain biking. Add a rack and it goes touring. Add fenders and it's your commuter.
BMC started with their GF01, with the features that make this a comfortable, stable, endurance bike, and teased them out a bit and fabricated out of triple-butted 6000-series aluminum with a full carbon fork. This is neither the GF01, nor the GF02, for that matter, in terms of geometry. Thanks to slacker angles, less bottom bracket drop, a taller head tube, shorter top tube, and better tire clearance (thanks to disc brakes), they were able to widen the horizons of this bike. And by building it up with budget-minded Shimano Tiagra components, they make it harder to say no to.
